Streit's Matzo Bakery

Streit's Matzo Bakery (148-154 Rivington Street — www.streitsmatzos.com) was started in 1897 by Aaron and Nettie Streit.

This is the only family-owned and operated machine matzo company in the U.S. You can still see how the large matzo is moved along on a conveyer belt, then cut into individual pieces.

There is a company store with over 80 kosher products — including fresh baked matzo, of course.
